Rhonda is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Rhonda has an extensive background in education, which includes working with special needs students throughout the Autism Spectrum, downs syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Rhonda has worked with the parents, occupational therapists, speech therapists, hippo therapy specialists, and physical therapists to create a plan to best help children.
Rhonda’s emphasis is working with children and families to set goals, increase communication, and empower the family by utilizing play therapy strategies.
Rhonda has knowledge of American Sign Language and is continuing to increase her knowledge in the language as well as the culture.
