K’neesha Mickey is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida who has earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While experienced in various areas she specializes in helping people overcome anxiety, depression, anger and relationship issues. She has training in Trauma and Attachment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR,) Art therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), therapeutic techniques that she tailors to meet each client’s need on an individual level. K’neesha has provided counseling to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. She provides a warm, supportive and therapeutic environment that is diverse and welcoming. Together, she will help you develop goals and build on your strength’s and resources to overcome and meet life’s challenges. Her integrative approach draws from CBT techniques used for overcoming negative thought patterns as well as using a person-centered non-judgmental approach, and the use of psycho-dynamics referencing how the past influences the present.
